Our Ambassadors

What is an Ambassador?

Rajesh Sharma and Tom Brake MP

This exciting role lets you use your passion and experience to represent Cancer Research UK in face to face meetings with politicians, asking them to support our campaigns. We will provide you with specialist training from experts in the world of media and politics and all the support you need to take on this unique volunteering opportunity.

CancerCampaigns supporters have successfully lobbied for comprehensive smokefree legislation in England - thereby saving up to 600 lives a year - and for NHS cancer strategies in all four UK nations. The successes of the campaigns so far have outstripped all expectations but we want to take this even further by putting you at the heart of the campaigning process.

Margaret Parker with Laurence Robertson MP
